A 35-year-old man in Bengaluru was allegedly beaten to death after he was called for a discussion at his wife’s maternal house over frequent disputes between the couple.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shakeel, who was married to Raziya Sultana for 12 years.

According to the details, the couple had been embroiled in a domestic dispute, with a case already registered at the women’s police station.

On the fateful day, Shakeel was reportedly called to the basement of MM Apartments near Bilal Masjid in KG Halli for a mediation. However, an argument broke out, leading to a violent assault on him.

According to police, Jabiulla Khan, Imran Khan, and Fayaz Khan allegedly attacked Shakeel with a helmet, punched him, and kicked him repeatedly.

Shakeel collapsed during the assault and later died from his injuries.

A case in this regard was registered against his wife, Raziya Sultana, and another woman, Mubeena Taj, at the KG Halli Police Station.

Meanwhile, the three men accused of assaulting Shakeel were arrested.

In another incident, a man was arrested for allegedly stalking and sexually harassing a television actress in Bengaluru by sending her vulgar messages and obscene videos on social media.

The accused, Naveen K, worked as a delivery manager at a company in Whitefield.

According to police, the complainant had been receiving vulgar messages for the past three months from a Facebook user identified as Naveenz. Though she did not accept his friend request, the accused continued to send lewd messages through Messenger.

After the actress blocked him, the man allegedly created multiple new fake accounts and sent her obscene videos, including clips of his private parts. Despite repeated warnings, the harassment continued, she alleged.

On November 1, when the accused messaged her again, the woman asked him to meet her at a restaurant here. When she confronted him in person and demanded that he stop, he allegedly ignored her and spoke rudely, the complainant alleged.
